Tnx for your excellent advise. When I want put a kiteboard on holding a handle, I have a lot of problems. After I saw your video, I put board on in first attempt without any problem! They taught me that I must hold kite on 12, but kite was really unstable
thanks, very professionell video

Awesome Mate!! Greetings from Amsterdam
nice but at 2 min 42 sec, I don't understand what your are doing with the second loop, could you please help ? ;-)
Hi. If you are talking about passing the line back up, I've found out it's not necessary. So you can skip this step.
What about adding a knot in the loop to make for a universal loop/knot connection for different kites? Is that doable?
I don’t think you can do it with this technique. If you use a sewing machine it will work i think.
not bad. appreciate the video. other vids are showing that the end of the line (which get burried than) needs to be made thinner. as there is the part the lines than are likely to break. so here is a crucial part missing...
Thanks for the feedback. I know it looks better to make the end thinner. So far I’ve used it in several kite lines without ever having any breaks and i have used those lines in strong winds.
Great video Tiago. As always explaining all benefits and limits of the product. Thank you for sharing your opinion. If there are any questions. Anyone... Feel free to contact us anytime.
One suggestion would be that over software, we could make all radios always receive audio to master and only connect the voice to the one you want. It could be interesting to have that feature.
That's cool we can mute other student to speak only with one. However it's very bad I can't still hear other student. I should hear all students all time even I mute my voice for someone.
Never thought of that. Its a good point but can also be complicated if they are talking at the same time. They can click a button to connect to the master also.
Have you tested the BBtalkin 3.0 system? How do you use them? Have you tried to record the session and give it to the student? What was the feedback?
Is this just a Flysurfer ad 🤔
By not tapering the bury, the weakest point of the whole line is now the point where the line steps in its thickness.
thank you for the good idea ! I'll do it as you said 👍👍👍
That's awesome to hear! I'm glad I could help. Let me know how it goes!
Great info, I did not think of this challenge before....thank you
My pleasure. Glad you liked it.
I'm 72 now. I started to learn kiting about 8 years ago. First thing that happened was a divorce. Next I had to move... this caused a delay for a few years. All this stuff he's talking about (Most of it) happened but I had other guys around who knew what to do. Getting pro lessons is a must. WATCHING HUNDREDS OF HOURS ON YOU TUBE IS A MUST ! Dedicate yourself to the effort, equipment and get to an area where you can do it often. North Carolina is where I am now and it's very good because of the shallow lagoons and outer banks area. Location is the most important because the wind is the engine and frequency of go out is necessary especially in the first 5 years. Tides. wind direction, obstacles and upwind wind shadow effects, downwind obstacles and dangers all matter very much. Don't even ever think you can learn this alone. You should be able to get with friends to do it as much as possible and have a radio earpiece and coach telling you what to do with remote communication. This will accelerate your ability and stop all the bad habits from ever forming in the first place. I picked the wrong location and now have to move to a better one. There are many tricks and tips you NEED to know or you could easily get killed. I have seen some very bad accidents. The slower you go the less dangerous. I have Broke Ribs ~ Got Friction Burns, and suffered many drags and near drownings. GET A CREW FOR THE FIRST 5 YEARS... Not going is much safer than just going and if the beach is crowded forget it. There is a very good reason to be at the exact place at the right time . I thought I'd never find anything as good as surfing and am a life long surfer. Kiting is actually much BETTER ! OMG ~ SOOO GLAD I KEPT AT IT !! soon I'll be kiting into waves and really being good. ALOHA !
Yes. Safer for the rider and the kite. Much less travel downwind during mistakes which means much less walking back upwind. Makes the beginner much better at flying, body dragging, and easier to practice self rescue.
Thank you for sharing the video. However, the background music is quite bothersome and detracts from the viewing experience.
thanks for the feedback
Great! But you need to taper the end of the line before burying it. The amount of line that gets buried should also be 50x the diameter of line
Hello, thx for video. I would learn to my son, 12yo and 40Kg. I think about this model. Do you think it's possible to him to learn the first edge and upwind with a Viron 4m² ? We Ride near Leucate in France. 15 to 30 knts (and more, but not for a child).
Thank you for reaching out. Considering your son's age and weight, I'd recommend looking into the hybrid model, specifically the 3.5m² version. It offers superior depower compared to the Viron, which I believe would be more suitable for a young learner. I've created a video review on that particular kite, which might provide more insight. I genuinely believe it would be a great fit for your son, especially in the wind conditions you mentioned near Leucate. Stay safe and happy kiting!
Try sonic 21 and compare the trust
I understand it’s a single skin and I don’t believe it’s gonna hit 20-30’ or 7-9m. What kind of height can you get with this kite and is it good for non boosted jumps (ie, back/front roll, butter slides, hand drags/plant, dark slides, and others)
For non-boosted jumps, it works perfectly. Hangtime is not the best, but pop jumps are no problem.
I'm too fat to use a board handle to get it on my feet anyway 😂
Excellent tips. Thanks 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Helpful explanation. I learned with the first version and was very lucky to get good riding in my first set of lessons. Later I learned a slightly different way which is more gentle, similar to version 2.
Rock on!
What a great initiative from the Portuguese. Cannot love this enough...The only online search encouraging you to trust yourself to learn and progress into the sport. Maybe one of the few sports in the world where paramount safety cannot be overlooked before you step in the water. Thank you for your input
The video actually encourages you to have lessons and alerts you to the dangers of not doing so. But in case you do how to proceed to mitigate it the most.

@@KookProofActivityCenter thank you!
Hi Tiego With your experience what minimum length of line and type/size of kite would you recommend to ride on a small lake with very unstable winds and very poor launching zone with many obstacles ! I am quite skilled of piloting kites and I may use foil kite of 10m2 or 15m2 that I use with good sea wind with 17m lines. I may also use inflatable kites of various size if it is more appropriate. Is it possible to use them with 5m lines with variable and quite light winds (10/15kts, gust at 20)? Which board do I need to be able to ride upwind? Is it possible with a twintip? Thank you! 😎
It isn't easy to give a definitive answer without observing the exact conditions. However, for gusty winds, it's advisable to use a normal line size. Nonetheless, this could pose a challenge if your launch zone is not ideal. Using very short lines in very gusty conditions can make riding extremely difficult. In the gusty condition, I would advise a big board. It can be a twin-tip, but make it bigger so you can continue riding in the lulls.
Brilliant! I'd been wondering why I was struggling. Those 2 tips about the kite position and not using the board handle are invaluable.
Glad it was helpfull.
Thanks for the review. Where can I find the comparison video you talk about from 2:47 regarding the helmet pad set?
Coming soon!
Simple and very well explained. Thank you
Glad you liked it
Nice explanation! Thank you?
Glad it was helpful!
Great video..thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
don't waste your money tampons with strings fly like shit get a UFO life to short to be playing with strings all the time. we had a few tampon riders last year now they come with one strut kites. I had flown tampons [flyshit] now I use them for drop clothes and dust control I knew those flying tampons were good for something
Thanks a cool tip!
Glad you liked the tip, now you can chase your dreams even better!
With me being 150 pounds 72kg, on a Moses 633 (1200cm) foil.... Could this work in 12 mph?
it will be challenging on that low winds
At that weight with that foil you could ride a UFO 7-8m in 10-11kts if you have a bit if technique, which means you'd likely need a 5-6m Hybrid (no guarantee but they seem to deliver the power of a ~2m larger LEI for foiling). Best would be to try :)
Sounds good, this is something that I have been struggling with.. both kite at 12 and using the handle.. can't wait to try it out.. now praying for wind in Scotland
Hope it helps you out. Let me know how it was.
thankfully i got a ridengine harness so its solved for me
Thank you for sharing your experience and letting us know that a ridengine harness works for this!

hello, do you know how I can do a professional repair on the burst bladder. I've seen some repairs done with specific machines. but here in Brazil it is very difficult to have access to this information
I know the machines that are used for that but I don’t own one. And I do hate to fix bladders so I normally find someone to do that for me.

Did you use a bar from Flysurfer, or woulld any 4-line bar work? I think any would work, but just asking.
I used both and it works with any 4 line bar without a problem
Did you notice any difference when using high and low V bars?
Thanks for the video! Based on this video I decided to buy the 3.5m and sell my peak5 4m. Unfortunately the low end of the 3.5m hybrid is for me 18-20 knots (95kg and 1150 front wing) and with the peak5 4m it is 15knots. It’s an awesome kite but I am disappointed with the low end. Now doubting if I would change tot a 5.5m.
I still haven’t gotten the chance to test out the bigger sizes but if you had a 4 and want a bit more low end maybe the 5.5 is the way to go to complement the 3,5 you have. They are still great kites.
thanks for the honest review
Always!
